Can I get a sample?
YES! Mr Showbags is happy to post you a sample pack, in fact we would encourage you to get samples from any company you are thinking of dealing with. The only cost to you is the postage of $15.00 per pack. The sample pack includes 4 bags of your choice, and is a great way to show your committee the value and quality of Mr Showbags showbags.

How long before my event do I need to order?
We require orders to be placed a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your event. However, if you're short on time, let us know, as we may be able to get it to you on time depending on your location.

How do I place my order?
There are several ways...

Is there a minimum order?
Yes, we require a minimum order of 50 showbags, whatever combination you choose. However, we are happy to discuss numbers if you are a small school.

Can I return any unsold bags?
Yes, we have a return policy on all bags NOT containing food products. We will happily refund up to 20% of the original order placed ie. if your original order was for 300 showbags, you may return 60 for full credit. Click here to download returns form

Are the Showbags pre-packed?
The showbags are all ready to go. Just open the cartons and start selling!

How much can we sell them for?
Great question! Most of our schools have the greatest success anywhere between $8.00 and $10.00, but it's entirely up to you what you sell them for.

How are the Showbags delivered?
Most of our stock is sent via one of Australia's market leading freight companies with track and trace features. They will deliver your order to the school office during school hours. There is no need to pay the courier, we take care of that here at our end.

How long before I get my order?
We usually allow 2 weeks but that depends on your location. Please enter your event date and we will ensure your order arrives in plenty of time.

Do you have point of sale material?
YES! With all orders placed, we supply a bright coloured poster advertising the showbags for $ (you input the price). If you require more point of sale material, we have seen some great examples of creative merchandising from the Grades in charge of the Showbag Stall! We suggest you take one of each bag ordered, pin or glue the content up to a piece of cardboard or similar and stuff the showbag full of newspaper for a great display.

How many bags will we sell?
From many years experience, you can expect to sell the same amount of showbags as there is students enrolled at the school.

When and how do we pay?
When you place your order, we will give you a dispatch date and send both the showbags and invoice to you at this time. (You must be a registered school for 7 day credit). You may pay us 7 days after your event via the following means.... EFT, cheque, credit card, BPay or Post Billpay.

Here are the instructions below:

1. Place 1 orange semi-circle onto 1 purple piece. Place on all the dragonfly body pieces,  making sure to match all  the holes. Sew dragonfly body pieces on with the thread provided.
2. Place both purple pieces wrong sides together. Do not sew together yet.
3. Squeeze open the clasp and put it over the top of the two purple pieces making sure there are no wrinkles In the felt. Push is all the way down so it almost touches the holes in the purple felt.
4. From the INSIDE sew each purple flap down individually and then sew across the top of each orange semi-circle individually,  attaching them both to the purple backing felt.
5. From the outside, finish your purse by stitching around the outside to seal it shut.
